Bocap Exits its Portfolio Company 9Solutions

Bocap’s portfolio company 9Solutions, a leading provider of highly integrated Real-Time Locating (“RTLS”) healthcare ICT solutions, has been sold to Stockholm-listed Assa Abloy.

Bocap has sold its stake in 9Solutions Oy to Assa Abloy. Bocap initially invested in 9Solutions in autumn 2020 via its 2nd fund (Bocap SME Achievers Fund II) and is now fully exiting the company in connection with this transaction. The parties have agreed not to disclose the details of the arrangement.

During Bocap’s investment period, 9Solutions strengthened its position as the leading provider of AI-powered real-time location solutions (RTLS) for critical communication needs in healthcare across the Nordics. With a cloud-native and software centric platform with real time locating infrastructure and connected devices, 9Solutions’ offerings can be integrated with other critical healthcare systems.

With Bocap's growth investment, the company achieved a new scale of growth and significantly multiplied its profitability. The key achievement in this growth story was that of refining the market’s most competitive product to meet even the most demanding customer needs in the industry. Today, the company employs over 40 professionals and serves nearly 2,000 satisfied customer organizations.
